Communication Education

The Toxinomics Foundation is sensitive to sustainable development, environmental and biodiversity issues. As a non-profit entity, its role is also to promote the protection of toxin and metabolite producing organisms with a special focus on venomous animals whose biodiversity is a great source of potential bioactive molecules.

The description of the Foundation would not be complete without mentioning its will to educate the public to the richness of marine and terrestrial biodiversity and the necessity for human beings to preserve it. To this end, the Foundation organises conferences and workshops on these thematics and the corresponding scientific areas.

The Foundation also edits educational tools dedicated to the general public such as explanatory schemes, posters or 3D movies. The Foundation also participates in exhibitions, co-produces documentary films and edits books to share knowledge on the scientific projects it is involved in, encourage scientific vocations and sensibilize the general public to environmental and economic aspects of biodiversity protection.
